Madison Churchill

Madison has lived in the Pacific Northwest almost her entire life. She’s a local artist specializing in scientific illustration of marine organisms. She’s also a divemaster and free-diver, spending much time as possible underwater. She loves to combine art with her love for the sea, using it as a tool to celebrate the natural world.

She graduated from Western Washington University in environmental policy, and works with SeaDoc Society doing communications and social media engagement.

She’s a marine naturalist with an obsession with kelp forests, and the thousands of marine species that call it their home. She can be found underwater peering into cracks and crevices or searching the understory for nudibranchs, sea stars, and other invertebrates.
