Bob Friel is an award-winning writer, photographer and documentary filmmaker and Producer of Salish Sea Wild, SeaDoc's wildlife-adventure video series.

Bob has a marine science background and traveled to more than 50 countries working as a diver and a journalist for magazines and TV. He's also the author of the true-crime bestseller, The Barefoot Bandit.
