Request for Tribal and First Nations Grants

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT IS MARCH 15, 2023 (NOW CLOSED)

In 2023 the SeaDoc Society anticipates funding one Tribal or First Nation projects, limited to $50,000. This grant opportunity is open only to Tribes, First Nations, and Indigenous organizations. Proposals should address a direct conservation need and the research should not only change our understanding of the problem but improve management or improve policy addressing the problem. Applicants from the US and Canada are eligible.

Important Dates and Deadlines

Proposals are due no later than 5:00 pm (Pacific) on March 15, 2023
Awards will be announced on or after April 14, 2023
