SeaDoc Society works to protect the health of marine wildlife and their ecosystems through science and education. We send out periodic updates about local species and our progress in helping to build a healthy ecosystem for people and wildlife.

You'll receive six Wildlife Posts every year, detailing our research into a particular species. We'll also share other relevant news as it happens.

Event reminders: SeaDoc puts on a Marine Science Lecture Series in the San Juan Islands. Please check the box if you're interested in receiving reminders of these events.

Special offer: receive SeaDoc stickers and help spread the word

If you include your mailing address in the form below, we'll send you two free SeaDoc stickers to display on your vehicle or at your business so you can show your friends and neighbors you care about the health of the Salish Sea and other coastal ecosystems.

We protect your privacy and do not sell or rent your personal information.

Why our work matters

Healthy ecosystems support economic prosperity. The Salish Sea provides abundant natural capital that contributes substantially to the financial prosperity of the region. Unhealthy ecosystems cost money because we lose the opportunity to benefit from them. The Salish Sea's deteriorating health threatens our economic well being and quality of life. SeaDoc uses science to find solutions to the problems facing the fish, wildlife and people of the Salish Sea.
