In Memory of Molly Bailey

SeaDoc board member Molly Bailey passed away suddenly on May 13. Molly was passionate about making the oceans a healthy place for wildlife and people. A longtime supporter of SeaDoc, she joined the board after participating in a Dolphin Charters expedition with SeaDoc.

On the board, Molly worked enthusiastically on development, outreach and education. She was a huge positive force on the board and her presence and energy will be missed.

Why our work matters

Healthy ecosystems support economic prosperity. The Salish Sea provides abundant natural capital that contributes substantially to the financial prosperity of the region. Unhealthy ecosystems cost money because we lose the opportunity to benefit from them. The Salish Sea's deteriorating health threatens our economic well being and quality of life. SeaDoc uses science to find solutions to the problems facing the fish, wildlife and people of the Salish Sea.
